Bench Pillow of the Month

Bench Pillow Class - Machine Applique

August 18, 2021  9:30am - 4:30am

Students will learn:
~Various forms of applique techniques
~How to use fusible and prepare applique pieces
~To embellish their pillow (A little improv)

**Required Materials:
~Pillow pattern
~1/2 yard for applique background
~1/2 yard for backing
~various colorful scraps for applique
~1 yard muslin for pillow form
~fusible webbing
~1 large bag of good quality polyfil or pillow form

Optional materials:
~embroidery floss
~glass beads (sizes 2.2mm and 4mm)

    Students will receive a 15% discount on products for class
      ~Pattern
      ~1/2 yard applique background
      ~1/2 yard backing fabric
      ~Various fabrics for applique
      ~1 yard muslin
      ~Hot fix adhesive
      ~Embellishment items

Supplies needed:
~Sewing machine in good working order with foot pedal and cord
~Basic quilting notions (scissors, seam ripper, 
~Cutting mat
~Rotary cutter with sharp blade
~Quilting rulers
~Marking pen/pencil

Additional Info:
~Students will receive a 15% discount on products for class
~Maximum class size of 8 (Minimum of 4 for class to occur, so bring your friends!)
~There will be an hour for lunch so students may bring their lunch or go out to grab something
