Techniques covered: Cutting and preparing foundation papers, cutting fabric and organization, foundation paper piecing techniques and perfect spiked feathers!
Student must provide or bring:
• Sewing machine with 75 needle and other associated sewing supplies
• Cutting mat (18” x 36”)
• Rotary cutter with new blade
• Add-a-quarter ruler (12”)
• Fabric glue pen and refill
• Scotch tape
• Large paper clips – 1 box
• 1 gallon Ziploc bags
• Fabric for project
• Folding Template
• Recommended: Scotch repositionable glue stick
Pre-class preparation: Students will be provided instructions on prepping their papers and cutting their fabric strips prior to class.
The studio opens 30 minutes early on class days. Please arrive early to set up your workstation so the class can begin promptly at the scheduled start time.

| Instructor Bio: | Elsa has been sewing most of her life. While mostly making clothes for herself and her family, turned to quilting approximately 15 years ago as a creative outlet. In 2014 Elsa took her first class to learn about Quiltworx patterns and has never looked back. After several trips to northwest Montana to the Quiltworx studio, decided to pursue certification as a Quiltworx instructor and has made more than 100 Quiltworx projects. Elsa is the owner of Paper Trail Quilting, focusing on Quiltworx pattern instruction as well as longarming (when time permits). She has taught throughout South Carolina, Georgia and North Carolina as well as on the national level of Quiltworx University on Madeline Island, Wisconsin. |
