Let's Start at the Beginning... Workshop 1 Strip Piecing

In this workshop, you will learn how to cut straight strips and sew them together on a foundation fabric to create your choice of a notebook cover or placemat. Directions will be given so that you can make any size cover for a notebook or book.  It’s a good time to use up extra batting and dig into your stash or try out that new color combination of fabrics that you have seen in the shop.  It is a quick gift idea that delights everyone!

Before Class:

Foundation for your strip piecing will be a piece of batting.  For a placemat, cut  a piece measuring 13” X 17”  OR For a 1” Binder, cut a piece measuring 13” X 23”.
